Carlo Teruzzi Was born in Monza on Novembre 15th, 1947
Designer
National Representative of the International Committee for Museums Security (ICMS) of the International Council of Museums (ICOM).
In 1999 he founded the magazine “Nuova Museologia” paired with Prof. Giovanni Pinna, becoming publisher of the journal.
In 2000 he was one of the eight authors of the Vocabulary of Museum Security Terms published in 2000 by the Institut für Museumskunde of Preussischer Kulturbesitz and by ICMS.
In 2003 he edited the Italian version of the Manual of Museums Security, translation of the original ICOM-ICMS, edited by David Liston of Smithsonian Institute in Washington;
He wrote some projects for fire prevention of the Civic Museum of Natural History-Milan, Civic Planetarium U. Hoepli-Milan, Civic Aquarium-Milan.
He is also involved in museums furnishing design, among which are remarkable: Civic Museum of Natural History-Milan, Ornithologic Center-Republic of San Marino, National Park of Vesuvio, Museum of Maremma’s Natural History, Museum Don Luigi Talamoni-Monza.
